Officer

FUTURE
GROWTH.

Ease of connection to the city along with an enviable local lifestyle has made Officer one of Victoria’s fastest growing precincts, with annual population growth of 29% in 2021. The region is forecast to continue to grow rapidly before reaching a maximum, due to the limited availability of residential land at the end of the decade.

The new Officer South Employment Precinct on the southern side of the Princes Freeway, only three kilometres from Arbor, is planned to support over 20,000 local jobs once complete.

Major projects, including Stage Two of the Monash Freeway Upgrade and a future freeway interchange at Officer South Road are set to reduce driving times to the CBD. The new Metro Tunnel currently under construction will connect the Pakenham train line with five new Melbourne underground stations. It is forecast to increase peak capacity by 45% and reduce train journeys to the city by up to 25 minutes.

FUTURE
AMENITIES

The rapidly growing Officer Town Centre, just down the road from Arbor, will provide a lifestyle and entertainment destination for residents.  Currently under construction, One Centre Square will offer cafés and restaurants, entertainment, specialty shopping, as well as fitness and healthcare.  Other planned facilities include a new community centre, public spaces, major retail and a future aquatic centre.

Closer to Arbor still, a new neighbourhood convenience centre, community centre and government primary school are all planned just around the corner.

The master planned Officer Precinct is linked by a network of future boulevards, local and regional parks, nature corridors and walking and cycle paths which will all continue to add to local amenity, enhancing property values for years to come.
